How I met my spouse:
We were introduced through
a mutual friend in college.
Before we even had the opportunity to meet, our
friend told both of us that
she knew if we ever met we would eventually get married. Well, all I
have to say is that she was right.
Spiritual Gifts: Leadership, Exhortation, Relationships,
and Vision.
Education: Graduated from Pell City High, Completed Basics @
Gadsden State Community College, and Currently Pursuing Bachelor’s
Degree in Biblical Studies from Southeastern Bible College.
How I came to First Baptist Church of Leeds: I was serving @
Bellevue Baptist Church in Gadsden, Al for a total of about 6 years.
Things seemed to be going great and I was very happy there. I had
never pursued a position at another church, because I never felt led
of the Lord to do so. God began to work in my wife’s and my heart
that He was about to do something in our life. One day my wife and I
sat down to discuss our willingness to follow God’s leading. The
next day we received a call totally out of the blue asking if I
would pray about coming to FBC Leeds. Considering I had never sent a
résumé out or even pursued another church, this seemed to be God
working. In the next few months God lead us to the conclusion that
he was going to be moving us to FBC Leeds to work in the
Youth/College Department. So here I am.
How I spend my free time: Spending time with my family,
playing the guitar, working out, and fishing when I get the chance.
First job: I was a cook at Captain D’s. Eventually I worked
my way up to cashier!!
Most powerful Christian book I’ve read: Jesus Christ Disciple

What I value most: The interactive working of God through the
Holy Spirit. My family.
How I became a Christian: On the Last Sunday of February
1994, I was
attending Cropwell Baptist Church in Pell City. It was one of those
moments when God was talking straight to me. The Lord convicted me
of my sin and revealed the relationship He desired to have with me.
In the best way I knew how I said “Yes Lord” and turned my life over
to him.
Favorite things:
Music Styles: I love all Christian music, southern rock,
blues, and blue grass.
Worship Song: You Said (By: Shane and Shane)
Movie: Princess Bride,
TV Show: Cops and DIY to the rescue.
Hobbies: Playing Guitar, Tennis, Basketball, Hunting,
Fishing, and Building Things.
Food: Crawfish Pie!!! It’s a Louisiana thing!
