About First Baptist Leeds
Vision/Mission Statement:
First Baptist Leeds seeks to
be a Christ magnifying Family of Faith helping people connect with
God through worship, witness, Bible study and ministry locally and
globally.
Summary of Values:

Jesus honoring, Bible based,
doctrinally sound teaching, preaching and practice as
broadly summarized in the in the Baptist Faith and Message
adopted by the SBC in 1963 and updated in 2000.

A global mission of evangelism
and discipleship as commanded by Jesus in the Great
Commission and implemented under the leadership of the Holy
Spirit in cooperation with our local Baptist Association, the
State convention, the SBC and other compatible mission efforts.

Prayer that depends on a
sovereign God, rejoices in His goodness and trusts His power and
is offer frequently and fervently for one another.

Balanced leadership where
staff and laity regularly express mutual support and respect for
one another and share as a team leadership responsibility for
the health of the church.

Heartfelt Worship that
features inspirational music for multiple generations and
engaging preaching that applies biblical truth to daily life.
What We Believe
First Baptist,
Leeds is a Bible-based,, conservative, evangelical, self-governing
Family of Faith. For purposes of missions and fellowship we are
members of the Birmingham Baptist Association, and affiliated with
the Alabama Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention.
